Ilang araw bago ang May 2025 elections, nag-endorso ng limang kandidato sa pagkasenador ang religious group na Jesus Is Lord Church Worldwide (JILCW).
“After much prayer, fasting, and study, JIL Worldwide's Executive Selection Committee for the 2025 Midterm Elections has concluded its initial deliberations and has shortlisted senatorial candidates for endorsement,” anang JILCW sa isang pahayag nitong Linggo, Mayo 4.
Inendorso ng naturang religous group sina Manny Pacquiao, Tito Sotto III, Pia Cayetano, Ping Lacson, at Kiko Pangilinan.
"The Executive Selection Committee has adopted a set of stringent criteria rooted in Christian values, with a strong emphasis on candidates’ commitment to truth, justice, and righteousness. This is in keeping with Proverbs 14:34, which says, ‘Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people,” saad pa ng JILCW, na pinangungunahan ni CIBAC partylist Rep. Bro. Eddie Villanueva.

Bukod sa limang kandidatong nabanggit, sinabi rin ng JILCW na ia-anunsyo nila sa mga susunod na araw ang second batch ng pag-endorso.
Samantala, iginiit kamakailan ni Senador Joel Villanueva, anak ni Bro. Eddie, na ang naturang pag-endorso ay hindi naghihikayat ng block voting.
"We never encourage block voting. We only endorse. We feel that's your personal right. But it's important to guide your members and yun din yung naging duty ko as a member of JIL to shed light dun sa mga questions nila who are really doing their job may mga na contribute na, sinong kailangan ng Senado. Ito ba kailangan, tingin mo, etc. When our advocacy is on this path, siya ba going to this direction then, or not?," ani Villanueva.
Ang JILCW ay itinatag noong 1978 bilang isang maliit ng Bible study group na binubuo ng 15 mag-aaral. Sa kasalukuyan, lumawak na ito sa 82 probinsya sa Pilipinas at 70 bansa sa buong mundo.
