Tila maganda umano ang dulot ng mga ayuda programs para sa mga mambabatas at iba pang local officials na kakampi ng kasalukuyang administrasyon, ayon sa isang political scientist.
Sa latest episode ng “Morning Matters” nitong Biyernes, Abril 25, tinanong ni TV5 news anchor Gretchen Ho si Dr. Froilan Calilung tungkol sa kung sino ang nakikinabang sa mga ayuda program.
Si Calilung ay mula sa University of Santo Tomas (UST) at bahagi ng Political Science and Graduate School Faculty.
Aniya, “I would say that these flagship programs of the current administration. So definitely those congressmen and local government officials who are closely allied to the government, practically to the Marcos administration, may have definitely benefited from these programs.”

“Presumably because they have easier access to this funding and they’re actually aligned also with the DSWD, which of course the primary agency which is…rolling out these programs,” dugtong pa ni Calilung.
Matatandaang isa sa programang ito ng gobyerno ang Ayuda Para sa Kapos ang Kita Program o AKAP na kinainisan ng taumbayan dahil sa pagkakaroon nito ng bilyong pondo kumpara sa PhilHealth, batay sa 2025 national budget na isinapinal ng Kamara at Senado.
