Ipinagbawal ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang pangangampanya sa darating na Huwebes Santo (Abril 17, 2025) at Biyernes Santo (Abril 18).
Ayon sa Comelec, alinsunod ito sa COMELEC Resolution No. 10999 kung saan itinuturing umanong election offense ang pangangampanya sa nasabing mga araw.
"COMELEC Resolution No. 10999 provided that campaigning on these dates is prohibited. Any election campaign or partisan political party for or against any candidate outside of the campaign period is prohibited and shall be considered as election offense punishable under Section 263 and 264 of the Omnibus Election Code," anang Comelec sa kanilang Facebook post nitong Lunes, Abril 14.
