Kinondena ng Movement for Restoration of Peace and Order (MRPO) ang brutal na pagpatay ng mga kidnapper sa Filipino-Chinese businessman na si Anson Que (kilala rin bilang Anton Tan) at sa driver nitong si Armanie Pabillo.

"We are one with the public in calling law enforcement authorities to step up, take urgent action, and put a stop to these senseless acts of action, and put a stop to these senseless acts of violence. We have three cases in just five (5) weeks," saad ni Filipino-Chinese civic leader Teresita Ang-See, founder ng MRPO.

"We call on agencies of the government to take a swift and decisive action to restore peace and security," dagdag pa niya.
Samantala, nanawagan ang MRPO sa publiko na huwag ipakalat ang mga "unverified news, photos, or videos" ng mga biktima.
Nakiramay din ang MRPO sa pamilya ng mga biktima.
"We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Que and Pabillo families at this very difficult time and fervently hope that the perpetrators will soon be caught and brought to justice."
Noong Miyerkules ng umaga, Abril 9, may natagpuang bangkay sa Barangay Macabud. Nakalagay ang dalawang bangkay sa isang nylon bag na tinalian ng nylon na lupid, at ang mga mukha ng biktma ay binalutan ng duct tape, ayon kay Police Regional Office 4A (PRO 4A) public information office chief Police Lieutenant Colonel Chitadel Gaoiran sa ulat ng GMA News.
Nitong Huwebes, Abril 10, kinumpirma ni PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Jean Fajardo na ang naturang bangkay ay sina Que at Pabillo.
