Ngayong International Women's Day at National Women's Month, kinilala ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang mahalagang papel ng kababaihan sa paghubog ng naratibo ng Pilipinas mula sa nakaraan hanggang sa kasalukuyan.
Sa kaniyang mensahe nitong Sabado, Marso 8, nakiisa si Marcos sa pagdiriwang ng araw ng kababaihan, kung saan binanggit niya ang pagiging malakas at matatag ng mga ito.
“Dynamic and ever-evolving, similar to our Inang Bayan, being a woman requires resilience and strength. Many of the developments we witness today can be attributed to the innumerable contributions of women across generations who fought, struggled, and advocated for various noble causes,” ani Marcos.
“In the Philippines, women have played a crucial role in shaping our nation's narrative. From the babaylans, katipuneras, and Filipina guerillas of the past to the frontliners, professional trailblazers, and visionary leaders of today, our country has produced millions of empowered women who gave their knowledge, talents, and even their lives for the sake of many.”

Kaugnay nito, hinikayat ng pangulo ang mga Pilipinong kilalanin ang kahalagahan ng kababaihan, at isulong ang kanilang mga karapatan.
“Let us commit to supporting them in their endeavors to uplift the nation and the rest of the world,” saad ni Marcos.
“The Bagong Pilipinas we are building will always advocate for women's rights and vigorously oppose anything threatening their progress. We will never grow weary of retelling the stories of remarkable women so we can inspire a new generation of young girls to make their mark on society.
“Mabuhay ang mga kababaihan ng ating bayan!” dagdag pa niya.
