Kinondena ng ACT Teachers Partylist ang pagsuspinde ng Meta sa Facebook page ni senatorial aspirant France Castro dahil umano sa “impersonation.”
Sa Facebook page ng nasabing partylist noong Lunes, Pebrero 17, sinabi nilang hindi raw ito ang unang beses na nakaranas ng “digital repression” ang mga progresibong grupo at indibidwal na tulad ni Castro.
Anila, “Pages and accounts of groups like Bayan, Kilusang Magbubukid ng Bicol (KMB), and other national democratic advocates have been systematically targeted and unpublished, reflecting a broader pattern of silencing dissent.”
“We condemn this blatant act of repression and demand the immediate restoration of Teacher France Castro’s page. This suspension is a clear attack on freedom of expression and an attempt to undermine the people’s right to hold those in power accountable,” dugtong pa ng ACT Teachers.

Sa huli, hinikayat ng grupo ang publiko na manatiling mapagbantay at tumindig kasama ng mga progresibong boses na nakikibaka para sa hustisya at demokrasya.
Ayon sa ACT Teachers, nangyari ang suspensyon sa kalagitnaan ng matagumpay na impeachment case laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.
Matatandaang kabilang si Castro sa 240 na mambabatas na lumagda sa impeachment complaint laban sa bise-presidente.
