Sa kaniyang opisyal na pahayag nitong Miyerkules, Pebrero 5, 2025, tinawag niyang baseless impeachment case umano ang ipinataw ng kamara kay VP Sara na isang political prosecution.
“The sinister maneuvering of certain lawmakers, led by Rep. Garin, to hastily collect signatures and push for the immediate approval and transmittal of this baseless impeachment case is a clear act of political persecution,” anang mambabatas.

Binigyang diin din ni Duterte na ang aniya’y pagsasawalang bahala umano ng administrasyon ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, Jr. sa nmaging kilos-protesta ng Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) hinggil sa pagkakaisa ng pamahalaan at pagutulo sa nasabing impeachment laban kay VP Sara.
“This administration is treading on dangerous ground. If they were unfazed by the over one million rallying supporters of the Iglesia Ni Cristo, then they are blindly marching toward an even greater storm—one that could shake the very foundation of their rule,” saad ni Duterte.
Tinawag din niyang isa umanong pagkakamali ng pamahalaan ang tuluyang pagtulak sa impeachment ni VP Sara at iginiit na ang tila pang-aabuso umano sa kapangyarihan ng administrasyong Marcos ay hindi umano magtatagal.
“If the Marcos administration thinks it can push this sham impeachment without consequence, they are gravely mistaken,” giit ni Duterte.
Dagdag pa niya, “This is not just about VP Sara Duterte—this is about the will of the Filipino people. The growing discontent and frustration across the country will not be contained for long. Mark my words: this reckless abuse of power will not end in their favor."
