Ipinahayag ni Vice President Sara Duterte na sana raw ay patuloy na magtulungan ang Pilipinas at China upang tugunan ang mga suliraning kanilang nararanasan.
Sinabi ito ni Duterte sa isang video message na inilabas ng NewsWatch Plus PH, kung saan ipinalabas daw ito sa pagdiriwang ng Chinese New Year na pinasinayaan ng Chinese Embassy sa Taguig nitong Linggo, Enero 19.
“As we welcome the Year of the Wood Snake, a symbol of wisdom, resilience, and adaptability, we reflect on the aspirations that unite us and guide us towards a brighter future,” ani Duterte sa naturang video.

Binati rin ng bise presidente ang Embassy of the People’s Republic of China na pinamumunuan ni Ambassador Huang Xilian, Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry Incorporated, Federation of Filipino Chinese Association of the Philippines, at ang Philippine Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Incorporated sa pag-co-host daw ng nasabing pagdiriwang.
Ayon pa kay Duterte, mahalaga ang taong 2025 dahil daw sa pagdiriwang ng ika-50 anibersaryo ng pagkakatatag ng diplomatikong relasyon ng Pilipinas at China.
“This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and China. Over five decades, our nations have sought to enrich our bilateral relations on the basis of sovereign equality, achieving milestones in various areas of cooperation,” saad ni Duterte.
“As we honor this legacy, let us look ahead with hope and determination, working together to address common challenges and foster a harmonious and prosperous future for all.”
