Pinasalamatan ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte si Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) Executive Minister Eduardo Manalo at ang mga miyembro ng INC sa pag-oorganisa ng "National Rally for Peace" nitong Lunes, Enero 13.
Sa isang video nitong Lunes, sinabi ng dating pangulo na ang naturang rally for peace ang kinakailangan ng bansa.
"I would like to thank Ka Eduardo Manalo and the Iglesia Ni Cristo for organizing and mobilizing its members in today's Prayer Rally for Peace," saad ni Duterte.
"This is what our country needs in these critical times. Not impeachment. Not waste of government resources. Not self-serving schemes. Not divisive action. We must unite. We must move forward as one. We must serve our people," dagdag pa niya.

Pinasalamatan din niya ang mga grupo at indibidwal na nagpapakita ng suporta para sa bansa.
"I would [also] like to thank all the groups and individuals who have the best interests of our country and our people in their hearts for showing up to be counted all over the country.
"Their participation in the Prayer Rally shows that they know and care for what is happening in our country today. Amid all this noise, let us be purposeful and ensure the meaningful future of our children and our children's children.
"Let us demand what is due our people," anang dating pangulo.
Habang isinusulat ito, kasalukuyang dumadagsa ang mga INC members sa Quirino Grandstand sa Maynila para sa isinasagawa nilang rally for peace.
