Ipinakita ng UST Faculty of Medicine & Surgery ang transcript of records o talaan ng mga naging marka ng isa sa mga itinuturing na dakila at pambansang bayani ng bansa na si Dr. Jose Rizal, sa araw ng paggunita ng kaniyang death anniversary noong 1896 sa Bagumbayan (Luneta ngayon o Rizal Park).
Sa opisyal na Facebook page ng University of Santo Tomas (UST) kung saan nag-aral si Rizal ng degree program na Medisina, makikita ang larawan ng nabanggit na transcript of records.
"The national hero, Dr. Jose Rizal, spent much of his medical preparation in the UST Faculty of Medicine & Surgery. The famed historian, Rev. fr. Fidel Villarroel, O.P., in his magnum opus 'A History of the University of Santo Tomas' devoted Chapter VI of Volume II to 'Jose Rizal as a Medical Student and an Alumnus,'" anila.
After taking the pre-law course in 1877, 'he changed his mind—or his parents did—and opted for the career of medicine.' While several of Rizal’s classmates 'one by one fell by the roadside,' by the fourth year, only seven medical students of the year remained, and Rizal was one of them, ending that year in second place."

Batay sa transcript sa konteksto ng grading system sa panahon ng mga Espanyol, ang mga nakuhang marka ni Rizal sa kabuuan ng kaniyang pag-aaral sa UST ay "Sobresaliente" o "Excellent," "Notable" o "Very Good," "Bueno" o "Good," "Aprobado" o "Pass," at "Insuficiente" o "Insufficient o Failed." Ang "Aprovechado" naman ay nangangahulugang "commendable but not necessarily top-tier performance."
Sa kaniyang preparatory course sa Theology at Law, mapapansing puro sobresaliente ang nakuha niyang grado para sa mga subject na Cosmology, Metaphysics, Theodicy, at History of Philosophy.
Para naman sa preparatory course sa Medisina, nakakuha siya sa ng sobresaliente para sa Advanced Chemistry at aprovechado naman sa Advanced Physics at Advanced Natural History.
Sa kaniyang Unang Taon sa Medisina (1878-1879), puro bueno ang natamo niyang grado para sa General Anatomy and Histology I, Descriptive Anatomy I, at Exercises of Osteology and Dissection.
Bueno rin ang natanggap niyang marka sa kaniyang Ikalawang Taon (1879-1880) sa mga subject na General Anatomy and Histology II, Descriptive Anatomy II, Exercises of Dissection, at Physiology, Private and Public Hygiene.
Pagdating sa Ikatlong Taon (1880-1881), halo-halo na ang kaniyang naging marka. Sobresaliente siya sa Therapeutics, Medical Matter and Art of Prescribing, Bueno naman sa Surgical Anatomy, Operations, External Medical Applications and Bandages, at Aprobado lamang sa General Pathology, its Clinic, and Pathologic Histology.
At sa kaniyang Ikaapat na Taon naman (1881-1882), puro notable ang kaniyang marka para sa Medical Pathology, Surgical Pathology, Obstetrics, Sickness of Women, and Children, at Siphilography.
