Itinanggi ni Senador Bong Go na nasangkot siya kahit minsan sa war on drugs ng administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
Sa isang pahayag nitong Sabado, Oktubre 12, iginiit ni Go na noong nagsisilbi siya bilang Special Assistant of the President ay hindi raw kasama sa kaniyang mandato ang police operations.
"Bilang Special Assistant of the President noon, I have no participation whatsoever, directly or indirectly, in the operational requirements of the war on drugs," ani Go.
"As stated in the Executive Order creating my position, my functions are limited to scheduling, appointments, and presidential engagements. My mandate does not include police operations. Kaya hindi ako nakikialam diyan," dagdag pa niya.

Ang naturang pahayag ni Go ay matapos sabihin ni retired police colonel at dating Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) general manager Royina Garma sa pagdinig ng House quad committee noong Biyernes, Oktubre 11, na sangkot umano si Go sa tinatawag na expansion ng "Davao model" o ang cash reward system na ginagamit daw sa Oplan Tokhang.
Ayon kay Garma, ang “Davao Model” umano ay tumutukoy sa sistemang may kinalaman sa “payment” at “rewards” kung saan may tatlo raw itong antas.
“The Davao Model involves three levels of payment of rewards. First is the reward if the suspect is killed. Second is the funding of planned operations, and the third is the refund of operational expenses,” saad niya.
Sinabi rin ni Garma na nasa P20,000 hanggang P1 million umano ang reward para sa drug personalities na napatay sa Oplan Tokhang.
