Tuloy-tuloy ang pamamayani ng Premier Volleyball League (PVL) grand slam team Creamline Cool Smasher ngayong off season ng liga matapos mabuo ang kasunduan sa pagitan ng Rebisco Management at Department of Education (DepEd) tungkol sa plano ng pagpapaigting nila ng programa sa edukasyon ng bansa kasama ang volleyball clinic sa mga school coaches at young athletes.
Inanunsyo ng DepEd ang naturang kasunduan sa pagitan nila ng Rebisco matapos ang pirmahan ng memorandum of agreement (MOA) noong Biyernes, Setyembre 19, 2024.
Pinangunahan ni DepEd secretary Sonny Angara ang ceremony na dinaluhan naman nina Creamline representatives PVL 2024 Invitational Conference MVP Michelle Gumabao, PVL 2022 Open Conference MVP Tots Carlos at PVL 2024 Invitational Conference Finals MVP Kyle Negrito.
Isa sa mga umano’y pangunahing papel ng Creamline sa proyekto ay ang pagbibigay ng mga volleyball kits, volleyball videos at learning camps sa mga paaralan sa buong bansa.
Samantala, hati sa limang magkakaibang programa ang nasabing kasunduan sa pagitan ng DepEd at Rebisco:
1. RebisCOMPLEMENT: Development of learning materials in printed and digital formats.
2. RebisCONSTRUCT/RebisCONVERT: Construction or restoration of classrooms and service facilities.
3. RebisCOMMUNITY: Outreach programs, including feeding programs, medical missions, and gift-giving initiatives.
4. RebisCOMMEND/RebisCOMMENDATION: Appreciation and recognition of educators during National Teacher's Day.
5. RebisCONGRESS: Support of sports development through training for volleyball coaches and players.
“We thank Rebisco for supporting the restoration of service facilities such as sports clinics and canteens so we will have the next Michele, Tots, and Kylie. Mga bata pa lang, mahahasa na ang kanilang galing,” ani DepEd secretary Angara sa panayam sa media.
