Ginunita ni Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos, Jr. ang 107th birth anniversary ng kaniyang yumaong amang si dating Pangulong Ferdinand E. Marcos, Sr. na tinatawag ding "Apo Lakay."

Nag-post si PBBM ng tribute sa kaniyang ama nitong Miyerkules, Setyembre 11, sa mismong araw ng kapanganakan ng dating pangulo.

Sa iba pang posts ng pangulo, nagbigay rin siya ng updates patungkol sa pagtungo nila sa Laoag City, Ilocos Norte para sa pagdiriwang ng birth anniversary ni Apo Lakay, at para din dumalo sa ginanap na "Marcos 107 Free Concert" para sa kaniya.

Dumalo rin ang pamilya Marcos sa isinagawang misa para kay Marcos, Sr. sa Immaculate Conception Parish-Batac, Batac City, Ilocos Norte.
