Matapos maaresto si Alice Guo, hinamon ni dating Gabriela Party-list Representative at Makabayan Coalition senatorial bet Liza Maza si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. na arestuhin din ang lahat ng “foreign spies” kabilang na umano ang mga “puppet” ng United States (US) na nakikialam sa domestic affairs ng bansa.

“If you’re truly committed to upholding the rule of law and protecting our nation, then arrest all foreign spies and lackeys. Why stop with Guo?” giit ni Maza sa isang pahayag nitong Biyernes, Setyembre 6.

Ayon din kay Maza, kasalukuyang co-chair ng Makabayan, nagkakaroon umano ang administrasyong Marcos ng piling pagsupil sa foreign agents. 

Inakusahan din ng dating mambabatas ang pangulo ng “fake nationalism” dahil sa pagprotekta umano nila sa mga interes ng US sa halip na soberanya ng bansa.

"These foreign agents should be treated no differently than Guo,” giit ni Maza.

“Our government has conveniently overlooked the elephant in the room: America's war machine, stockpiled at EDCA (Enhanced Defense Cooperation Agreement) locations, ready to be unleashed when the U.S. goes to war.

“Marcos talks about foreign threats, but it’s U.S. military officers who have long served as advisers to the AFP, with our top officers receiving indoctrination and training in the U.S. These are real threats—one that has existed for decades under the full blessing of the Philippine government,” saad pa niya.

Samantala, kinondena rin ni Maza ang umano’y “special treatment” na ibinigay ng mga awtoridad ng Pilipinas kay Guo.

"You are handling her with kid gloves when she’s a fugitive,” giit ni Maza. "It makes you wonder if this entire hunt is just a performance."

Matatandaang naging usap-usapan ang nag-viral na mga “all smiles” na larawan ni Guo kasama ang ilang mga kawani ng pamahalaan, tulad nina Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos at Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief Rommel Marbil.

Samantala, itinanggi naman ni Abalos na may special treatment sila kay Guo, at ipinaliwanag din niya ang nag-viral na larawan.

Nahaharap si Guo sa contempt order at ilan pang kaso sa Pilipinas, tulad ng pagkasangkot niya sa Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO), bago siya tumakas ng bansa at magtungo sa Malaysia, Singapore, at panghuli nga ay sa Indonesia.
