Bagama’t papalayo na ng bansa, mas lumakas pa ang bagyong Enteng at itinaas na ito sa “severe tropical storm” category, ayon sa Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) nitong dakong 5:00 ng hapon nitong Martes, Setyembre 3.
Sa tala ng PAGASA, huling namataan ang bagyong Enteng 165 kilometro ang layo sa west northwest ng Laoag City, Ilocos Norte.
Taglay nito ang lakas ng hanging aabot sa 95 kilometers per hour malapit sa sentro, at pagbugsong aabot sa 115 kilometers per hour.
Kumikilos ang bagyo pa-west northwest sa bilis na 10 kilometers per hour.

Nakataas sa Signal No. 1 ang mga sumusunod:
- Ilocos Norte
- Ilocos Sur
- Northern portion ng La Union (Luna, Santol, San Juan, Bagulin, Bangar, San Gabriel, Bacnotan, Sudipen, Balaoan, City of San Fernando)
- Abra
Ayon sa PAGASA, posibleng lumabas ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) ang bagyong Enteng bukas ng Miyerkules ng umaga, Setyembre 4.
“Outside the PAR region, the tropical storm will move generally westward until Friday morning (September 6), then turn west northwestward for the remainder of the forecast period. ENTENG is forecast to make another landfall in the vicinity of southern mainland China during the weekend,” anang PAGASA.
Inaasahan pa raw na lalakas ang bagyo at itataas sa “typhoon” category pagsapit ng Huwebes, Setyembre 5.
