PNP, tuloy pa ring hahalughugin ang KOJC compound—Abalos

Tuloy pa rin ang paghalughog ng awtoridad sa Kingdom of Jesus Christ (KOJC) compound sa Davao City para mahanap si Pastor Apollo Quiboloy, ayon kay Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos, Jr. nitong Martes, Agosto 27.

Nilinaw ni Abaos na ang inilabas na Temporary Protection Order ni Davao City Regional Trial Court Branch 15 Presiding Judge Mario Duaves ay para sa pagtanggal ng iba't ibang uri ng "barricades, barriers or blockade" na pumipigil sa mga miyembro ng KOJC na makapasok sa compound.

“What the order stated is to remove all forms of barricades, barriers or blockade that bar the access to and from the subject compound and hinder petitioner’s religious and academic property rights and the pursuit thereof by its officers and members within the surrounding premises,” ani Abalos sa mga mamamahayag.

“But it did not specifically say that the police must stop the operation. This will continue and I guarantee that this operation to find Pastor Quiboloy will continue,” dagdag pa ni Abalos.

 Matatandaang nitong Sabado, Agosto 24, nang simulang pasukin ng nasa 2,000 Police (PNP) personnel ang compound ng KOJC upang isilbi ang arrest warrant ni Pastor Apollo Quiboloy at mga kapwa-akusado nito.

Nito lamang namang Linggo ng gabi, Agosot 25, nang ihayag ni PNP Chief Rommel Marbil  na natukoy na ng pulisya ang kinaroroonan ng pastor at mga kasama nito.

Ayon kay Marbil, nasa underground facility lamang umano ng compound ng KOJC sina Quiboloy.

Kasalukuyang nahaharap si Quiboloy sa kasong “ANTI-TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS ACT OF 2003 (RA9208 AS AMENDED BY RA 10364), REPUBLIC ACT 7610 (SPECIAL PROTECTION OF CHILDREN AGAINST ABUSE, EXPLOITATION, AND DISCRIMINATION ACT), AND CONTEMPT OF COURT.”
