Naglabas ng pahayag ang kampo ng dalawang GMA independent contractors na sina Jojo Nones at Richard Cruz na sangkot sa isyu ng panghahalay umano kay Kapuso Sparkle artist Sandro Muhlach.
Sa ulat ng “24 Oras,” sinabi ni Atty. Maggie Abraham-Garduque na ikinalulungkot umano nila ang seryosong alegasyong ibinabato kina Nones at Cruz sa social media.
"Our clients are deeply saddened by the serious allegations hurled against them circulating on social media. And though these allegations do not mirror the true accounts of the event, we would like to reserve the right to respond in a proper forum when we receive a copy of the formal complaint," pahayag nito.
Sa ngayon, hinihimok nila ang publiko na itigil ang pagpapaskil ng mga paratang na walang basehan at respetuhin ang imbestigasyon hinggil sa nasabing kaso.

"For the meantime, we urge the public to respect the investigation being conducted on this case and we advise people who have no personal knowledge of the incident to refrain from posting baseless defamatory allegations and therefore unfairly subjecting both parties to publicity trial,” dagdag pa nila.
Matatandaang noong Agosto 1 ay nakatanggap na ng formal complaint ang GMA Network mula sa Sparkle artist na si Sandro Muhlach laban sa dalawang independent contractors umano ng naturang network.
