Pormal nang naidaos nitong Huwebes, Agosto 1, ang groundbreaking ceremony para sa bagong Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) Corporate Center sa Ermita, Maynila, sa pangunguna mismo nina Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin at PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles.
Ang naturang ₱2.2-bilyong proyekto ay target na maging permanenteng tahanan para sa mga empleyado at stakeholders ng ahensiya, habang pinahihintulutan ang isang 24/7 operational capability para sa designated operations.
Inaasahan ding sa tulong nito ay mapaghuhusay ang overall products ng ahensiya, gayundin ang mga serbisyo na ipinagkakaloob nito sa mga mamamayan.
“This groundbreaking stands not only as a testament to your vision but as a beacon of progress. And given your efforts leading to today, this will surely positively impact the quality of your service to your stakeholders, to the gaming community, to the ever-growing patrons of the PCSO and the general public,” ani Bersamin, sa kanyang talumpati.

Samantala, sinabi naman ni Robles na ang kanilang obdiyektibo ay makapagtayo ng imprastraktura na hindi lamang sapat upang maging tahanan ng kanilang workforce, kundi makapagpapahusay rin sa kanilang corporate image.
Layunin umano nilang mapalakas ang kanilang abilidad na magampanan ang kanilang mandato na pataasin at makapaghatid ng pondo para sa national health-related projects at charities.
Sa kanyang welcome remarks, sinabi ni Robles na nitong mga nakalipas na taon, nagpapalipat-lipat ng iba’t ibang lungsod ang PCSO, upang magsilbing tanggapan nila.
"While the PCSO Offices are now housed in Mandaluyong City, it is still not home to us. As such, at the outset of my tenure, I was with you in dreaming for a permanent place to call our very own," aniya pa. "[The] PCSO Corporate Center will rise as a symbol of the dedication of PCSO officials and employees who dared to dream through the years.”
Dagdag pa ni Robles, “Allow me to recognize all of you for this vision, which now will become our legacy to our stakeholders, to our gaming patrons, to the public and to all Filipinos.”
Nabatid na tatlong magkakahiwalay na major buildings ang pagdudugtungin upang mabuo ang PCSO Corporate Center para sa episyenteng sirkulasyon, accessibility, at maayos na operasyon ng ahensiya.
Ang una ay ang Corporate Building, na isang pitong palapag na pasilidad na may konkretong roof deck na siyang mag-a-accommodate ng frontline services, medical at charity departments, iba pang satellite government offices, at karagdagang espasyo para sa kapakanan ng mga empleyado.
Ang ikalawa naman ay ang Gaming at Multi-Purpose Building na may tatlong palapag at ang ikatlo ay ang Logistics and Parking Building, na may limang palapag.
Naabot din umano ng pasilidad ang itinatakdang minimum parking space requirement na 200 parking slots.
Anang PCSO, ilan sa key features ng Corporate Center ay ang probisyon para sa Information and Communication Technology (ICT)-enabled facilities at utilisasyon ng advanced engineering technology para sa earthquake resistance.
Mayroon din itong Integrated Facilities Management System (IFS) para sa efficient building operations at maintenance.
Inaasahang makukumpleto ang proyekto, pagsapit ng Oktubre 2026.
