Nagsalita na ang pamunuan ng isang inasal restaurant sa Bacnotan, La Union matapos mag-viral ang Facebook post ng isang nagrereklamong customer na may patay na bubuwit daw sa milk tea na binili niya mula sa nabanggit na kainan.
"Paubos na nung malamang mouse flavor pala," mababasa sa post ng nagreklamong netizen. Kalakip ng post ang kuhang larawan kaugnay nito.
Nakarating naman sa kaalaman ng kainan ang viral post at agad na naglabas ng opisyal na pahayag.
Anila, hindi raw sila nagtitinda o nag-ooffer ng kahit na anong milk tea o milk tea products kaya hindi raw dapat sila ang kinaladkad sa isyu. Bukod dito, safety raw ng customers ang kanilang top priority kaya tinitiyak nilang malinis ang mga pagkaing sa menu nila.

Sa isa pang Facebook post, nilinaw ng inasal resto na nagkausap at nagkaayos-ayos na ang dalawang partido sa tulong ng LGU.
"We met with the family concerning the viral post in social media and we were able to talk to them personally and resolved the issue gracefully. We both hear our sides together and decided to take down all post that can potentially destroy our reputations as an individual and an entity even further."
"We discussed their concerns and concluded that it was only an isolated issue as it has not been proven yet until we hear a statement from the LGU. We don't know for sure yet where and how 'Jerry' este the mouse ended up inside the cup as seen in the viral post."
