Pormal nang inihain ng Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) sa Tarlac City Regional Trial Court ang petisyong kanselahin ang birth certificate ni suspended Bamban, Tarlac Mayor Alice Guo.
Base sa ulat ng Manila Bulletin, inihain ng OSG, sa ngalan ng Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA), ang petisyon ng pagkansela ng certificate of live birth (COLB) ni Guo nitong Biyernes, Hulyo 5.
Inihayag ng OSG sa petisyon na dapat umanong kanselahin ang COLB ni Guo dahil sa mga iregularidad, tulad daw ng kawalan nito ng supporting documents na lumalabag sa mandatory requirements sa ilalim ng Section 1, Rule 25 ng Administrative Order No. 1-93 ng National Statistics Office (NSO), na ngayo’y PSA.
“Alice’s COLB with Registry No. 2005-10757 must be canceled by the Honorable Court for being void, the same not having duly registered in accordance with law,” anang OSG sa petisyon.

“There were no baptismal certificate, school records, income tax return, insurance policy, medical records, barangay certification, or other documents which could have established Alice’s name, the date and place of her birth, and the names of her parents.”
“There was also no affidavit of disinterested witnesses who have witnesses or known about Alice’s birth,” dagdag pa.
Kasalukuyang iniimbestigahan si Guo ng mga awtoridad kaugnay ng umano’y pagkakadawit niya sa Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) sa Bamban, at maging sa kontrobersyal niyang identidad.
Kaugnay nito, matatandaang kamakailan lamang ay isiniwalat ni Senador Risa Hontiveros na kinumpirma na ng National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) na iisa lamang si Guo at ang isang Chinese national na “Guo Hua Ping.”
