Nagbigay na ng pahayag ang BDO Unibank kaugnay sa nawalang ₱345,000 sa passbook savings account ng isang netizen na nagngangalang “Gleen Cañete.”

Sa official Facebook page ng BDO Unibank nitong Lunes, Hunyo 24, sinabi ng bangko na balido raw lahat ang ng ginawang withdrawals ng account holder.

“Please be informed that in the recent passbook incident as narrated by Mr. Gleen Cañete in his social media account, BDO has been able to account for the withdrawals that caused stress to Mr. Cañete,” saad ng BDO. 

“All withdrawals done by the account holder online were verified to be valid. Mr. Cañete advised BDO that they will resolve matters within their family,” anila.

Dagdag pa ng bangko: “BDO always looks after the security of its clients and encourages them to maintain privacy of their accounts.”

Matatandaang nag-viral ang video ni Cañete sa social media matapos niyang ireklamo ang tungkol sa pagkawala ng pondo sa kaniyang naturang passbook savings account.
