Ipinahayag ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez na isang magandang oportunidad ang paggunita ng mga kapatid na Muslim ng Eid Al-Adha ngayong Lunes, Hunyo 17, upang magbuklod ang bawat isa bilang isang komunidad.

Sa isang pahayag, binanggit ni Romualdez na ang Eid Al-Adha ay isang sagradong okasyon at pagkakataon para sa pananalangin, debosyon at pagkakaisa sa komunidad “sa ngalan ng pagsasakripisyo at pananampalataya ng mga kapatid nating Muslim sa buong bansa.”

“Eid Al-Adha is a time for personal devotion and an opportunity to unite as a community. I sincerely hope this festive season brings abundant blessings of peace and prosperity to your families and communities. May your homes be filled with joy and may your prayers for harmony and well-being be answered,” pahayag ni Romualdez.

“This occasion reminds us of the values of compassion, selflessness and generosity, of being one in prayer and sacrifice to show unwavering faith. It is a time to strengthen the bonds of kinship and friendship, and to reach out to those in need. Let us embrace these values in our daily lives and work towards building a more inclusive and caring society.”

Ayon pa sa House leader, bagama’t binubuo ang Pilipinas ng iba't ibang kultura at pananampalataya, nagmumula raw ang lakas ng bawat Pilipino sa kanilang pagkakaisa at paggalang sa kani-kaniyang mga paniniwala.

“Ang Eid Al-Adha ay isang paalala ng ating mayamang mga tradisyon na ating ipinagmamalaki at lubos na ipinagdiriwang. As we honor the significance of this day, let us also be mindful of the ongoing challenges we face as a nation. Together, let us strive for a future where peace and prosperity are not just aspirations, but realities for all Filipinos,” aniya.

Nakikiisa rin daw si Romualdez sa pananalangin para sa isang payapa at mapagpalang kinabukasan para sa lahat ng mga Pilipino.

“May this Eid bring an abundance of blessings, not only in spiritual fulfillment but also in the form of good health, happiness and success,” ani Romualdez.

“Eid Mubarak, everyone! May the blessings of Eid Al-Adha fill your hearts with peace and joy, and may your faith be strengthened as we continue to build a better and more united nation!” saad pa niya.
