Hiniling ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa mga Pilipinong patuloy na maging mabuti sa kanilang kapwa sa gitna ng kaniyang pakikiisa sa paggunita ng Eid'l Adha nitong Lunes, Hunyo 17.
Sa kaniyang mensahe, binanggit ni Marcos na ang paggunita ng Eid'l Adha o ang Feast of Sacrifice ay isang natatanging pagkakataon upang pagnilayan ang buhay at kuwento ni Ibrahim, kung saan ang kaniyang matatag na pananampalataya at walang pasubaling pagmamahal para kay Allah ay naging “core virtues” ng Islamikong pagtuturo.
“Reminiscent of how he decided to sacrifice his treasured son in obedience to God's will, may we grow in wisdom and fortitude as we discern challenges, knowing that there is gain in surrender and the act of letting go, even of persons and things we value the most,” pahayag ng pangulo.
“As we understand the significance of this commemoration, we feel deep within ourselves that, in nurturing our relationship with others and the Almighty, we are strengthened by our past and fueled with lessons to face tomorrow with grit and resilience,” dagdag niya.

Kaugnay nito, idinalangin ng punong ehekutibo na sana raw ay manatiling matatag ang bawat isa, at magkaroon ng kalinawan sa pag-iisip at kabutihan sa puso upang malampasan nila ang bawat pagsubok sa buhay.
“I earnestly pray that we may also have what it takes to be courageous even at the expense of our comfort and security. Indeed, in treading the noble yet arduous path of righteousness, we will find a greater sense of purpose in uplifting the lives of others and enriching the facets that make our dreams and endeavors meaningful,” ani Marcos.
“Through our dependence on Him and our life of prayer, may we have the clarity of mind and kindness of heart to overcome the trials that prevent us from achieving true peace. May we be able to create a Bagong Pilipinas that not only knows how to work for our future, but also recognizes that we are frail and helpless without the guidance of the One from whom all wisdom and knowledge flows."

Matatandaang kamakailan lamang ay idineklara ni Marcos ang Hunyo 17, 2024 bilang isang regular holiday upang bigyang-daan ang naturang paggunita ng Eid'l Adha.
