Binigyang-pugay ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez ang mga katulad niyang ama, kung saan ibinahagi niyang hindi palaging madali ang gampanan ang papel ng isang haligi ng tahanan.
Sa isang pahayag sa pagdiriwang ng Father's Day ngayong Linggo, Hunyo 16, binati ni Romualdez ang mga tatay, lolo, at “father figures” sa buong bansa.

Being a father myself, I understand the joys and challenges that come with this role. It's not always easy, but the smiles, the laughter, and the moments of pride make it all worthwhile,” ani Romualdez.
Ibinahagi rin ng House leader ang kaniyang pasasalamat sa mga aral na natutunan daw niya mula sa kaniyang sariling ama, at ang katatagang ipinakita raw nito tuwing nahaharap sa mga pagsubok sa buhay.

Kaugnay nito, hinakayat ni Romualdez ang bawat isang alalahanin at bigyang-pugay ang mga tatay na pumanaw na.
