"While our courageous Filipino fishers and frontliners brave constant threats from Chinese aggression, the former president is busy advocating for the rights of accused criminals. It's like cheering for the arsonist while your house is on fire!” giit ni Akbayan Party President Rafaela David sa isang pahayag nitong Martes, Hunyo 11.

Ex-Pres.

"The arrest of Apollo Quiboloy must not be seen as the end, but rather the beginning of holding influential individuals accountable for their crimes. Allegations of rape and human trafficking against Quiboloy demand swift and impartial justice to provide closure for victims and ensure accountability for perpetrators," ani David.

"Furthermore, we emphasize the pressing need for accountability regarding the thousands of lives lost due to Duterte's brutal war on drugs. The widespread extrajudicial killings during his oppressive reign have shattered families and plunged communities into mourning, leaving an enduring mark on the nation's conscience. He must also answer for his treasonous concessions to China and for compromising our sovereign rights in the West Philippine Sea," saad pa niya.
