Ikinalugod ni House Speaker Martin Romualdez ang pagpuri ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa ipinapakita raw na “unity” ng mga miyembro ng House of Representatives.

Sa isang pahayag nitong Huwebes, Mayo 16, nagpasalamat si Romualdez kay Marcos dahil sa pagkilala nito sa pagkakaisa ng mga mambabatas sa Kamara sa pamamagitan ng pagsuporta umano nila sa Presidential Assistance to Farmers, Fisherfolks, and Families (PAFF) payout sa Cagayan De Oro City.

"On behalf of the House of Representatives, I would like to express our gratitude to President Marcos, Jr. for highlighting our unity and commitment in support of his initiatives such as the PAFF and the Bagong Pilipinas Serbisyo Fair, among others, to bring government services closer to our people," ani Romualdez.

Nangako rin ang House leader na patuloy raw siya susuporta sa mga programa ng administrasyong Marcos.

"As Speaker of the House of Representatives, I vow to continue my unwavering support for the administration of President Marcos, Jr. and his pro-people programs. Together, we will strive to implement policies and projects that uplift the lives of every Filipino, ensuring that no one is left behind as we progress towards a more resilient and prosperous nation," saad niya.

Matatandaang nakiisa si Romualdez, kasama ang mahigit 50 miyembro ng Kamara, kay Marcos sa pamamahagi ng cash assistance sa 10,000 benepisyaryo ng PAFF program mula sa Cagayan De Oro City (CDO) at mga lalawigan ng Misamis Oriental, Camiguin, at Bukidnon sa Pimentel Convention Center sa CDO.

Kinilala naman ng pangulo ang malaking bilang daw ng mga mambabatas na nagkaisang dumalo sa kaganapan.

"Ngayon lang ako nakakita ng ganito. Kahit nung congressman ako nung pumapasok ako hindi ganito karami ang congressman dun sa plenary hall," saad ni Marcos.
