Natanggap na rin ng mga dating empleyado ng Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation (IBC)-13 ang kanilang retirement pay matapos ang 22 taon.
Nasa 145 retired employees ng IBC-13 ang pormal na tumanggap ng benepisyo, ayon sa pahayag ng Presidential Communications Office (PCO) nitong Sabado.
Paglilinaw ng PCO, 25 na sa retiradong empleyado ang pumanaw na bago pa ilabas ng pamahalaan ang benepisyo.
"The President gave the instruction to help resolve their claims as addressing the welfare of media workers is one of the cornerstones of his administration and of the PCO," ani PC Secretary Cheloy Garafil.
Bukod sa IBC-13, pinangangasiwaan din ng PCO ang mga government-owned media company na kinabibilangan ng People's Television Network at Presidential Broadcast Service-Bureau of Broadcast Services.
