Maglulunsad ng imbestigasyon ang National Security Council (NSC) kaugnay sa napaulat na pagdagsa ng mga estudyanteng Chinese sa isang pribadong paaralan sa Cagayan.

“Our intelligence units have been assigned to take a look at the situation there (Cagayan) para alamin kung is this actually a national security threat, or is it just a case of students who want to go to the Philippines to study,” paliwanag ni NSC Assistant Director Jonathan Malaya sa press conference sa Quezon City nitong Sabado.
Aniya, kuwestiyonable ang pananatili ng mga Chinese college student sa bansa dahil hindi ito tugma sa ulat ng Bureau of Immigration (BI) at intelligence reports.
Kung pagbabatayan aniya ang ulat ng BI, aabot lamang ng 100 ang mga estudyanteng Chinese sa Pilipinas at ito ay salungat sa intelligence reports.
“So, this is something that is currently being investigated now. Even Congress will also do their investigation, but we have already taken a look at it,” dagdag pa ni Malaya.
