Usap-usapan ngayon sa social media ang post ng isang foreigner vlogger na si "Saygin Lost" matapos niyang ibahagi ang ginawang "overcharging" sa kaniya ng isang tricycle driver sa Chinatown, Binondo, Maynila.

Kuwento ni Saygin sa pamamagitan ng Facebook reel, siningil daw siya ng ₱2,000 kahit malapit lang ang destinasyon niya. Ngunit alam ng dayuhan na masyado na itong pinatungan kaya nagkatawaran sila, hanggang sa nabatak niya ang presyo sa mas mababang halaga. Sinasabi pa raw ng tricycle driver na siya raw ang nag-offer na magbabayad siya ng ₱1,000.

"This little rat claims I offered him 1000 pesos for a ride. That is absolutely a lie. why should I do this? I told him that he should drive me to a place where there are market places, meaning places like a bazaar. While driving he said to me, pay, pay! I then asked him how much and he said 2000 pesos. So when we arrived he said 1500 pesos and then he went down to 1000 pesos then to 500 and then he stuck to his price again which he said before getting in was 150. Because he drove me the wrong way I still gave him 200 pesos But he didn't want to accept it and asked for 250 pesos. I then gave 250 pesos and you couldn't miss his grin. I felt scammed and uploaded it," mababasa sa kaniyang comment section.

Ipinakita rin sa video na nagtanong siya sa isang tindera at sinabi nitong too much o overcharged nga ang singil sa kaniya ng tricycle driver. Pinayuhan pa siya ng tindera na dapat, lagi siyang may barya habang nagbabakasyon sa Pilipinas.

Nang dahil dito, marami ang nagalit sa tricycle driver dahil ipinahiya raw nito ang Pilipinas.

Ngunit tila nalipat naman ang pagkadismaya ng netizens nang mabasa ang disclaimer ng foreigner na ang kuwento raw ay "fictitious" o gawa lamang ng imahinasyon.

Kaya naman, ilan sa mga netizen ang nagsabing hindi tama ang ginawa ng dayuhan dahil tila napagmukha nitong "masama" ang tricycle drivers sa Pilipinas.

And exposing the driver's identity is another thing, because of your video the driver's only way of living is now seriously affected.
