Nakiisa si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa pagdiriwang ng mga mananampalatayang Kristiyano sa “Linggo ng Pagkabuhay” nitong Marso 31, 2024.
Sa isang pahayag nitong Linggo, binanggit ni Marcos na ang Linggo ng Pagkabuhay ay isang mahalagang pagdiriwang ng muling pagkabuhay ni Hesukristo matapos Niyang magpakasakit para sa kasalanan ng sanlibutan.
"Today, we remember the fulfillment of the promise of Jesus Christ to humanity–that he will rise again and deliver eternal salvation for all. This auspicious occasion reminds us that, while faith, devotion, and sacrifice are, by themselves, worthy ideals to aspire for, they also yield great rewards both here on earth and the hereafter,” ani Marcos.
Sinabi rin ng pangulo na nawa’y tularan ng mga mananampalataya si Hesukristo sa pamamagitan ng pagtulong sa iba, lalo na sa mga naghihirap.
Ano ang ginugunita sa bawat araw ng Semana Santa?
“Let us draw inspiration from this important narrative as we overcome our personal and spiritual challenges. May this day also excite our hearts to live a Christ-like life, especially in sharing our blessings in whatever form to the poor, the sick and the downtrodden,” ani Marcos.
“Finally, let us unite in praying for the continued guidance of God Almighty in our collective pursuit to build the Bagong Pilipinas that we are destined to achieve. I wish everyone a happy and blessed Easter Sunday,” saad pa niya.
Ang Linggo ng Pagkabuhay ay isang pagdiriwang na tinatawag ding “Pasko ng Pagkabuhay” dahil ito ang pinakamasayang araw para sa mga mananampalatayang Kristiyano. Sa araw na ito ginugunita ang muling pagkabuhay at pagbabalik ni Hesus pagkatapos ng tatlong araw.
