Kinampihan ng United States ang Pilipinas sa isa pang insidente ng pambu-bully ng China sa tropa ng pamahalaan sa South China Sea nitong Sabado ng umaga.
“The United States stands with its ally the Philippines and condemns the dangerous actions by the People’s Republic of China (PRC) against lawful Philippine maritime operations in the South China Sea on March 23,” pahayag ng US State Department.
Pagdidiin naman ni State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller, ilang beses na binomba ng tubig at hinarang ng mga barko ng China Coast Guard (CCG) ang mga barko ng tropa ng pamahalaan na nagsasagawa ng rotation at resupply mission sa BRP Sierra Madre sa Ayungin Shoal.
Dahil dito, nagkaroon ng pinsala ang resupply boat kaya't hindi na ito ginamit.

“The PRC’s actions prevent normal personnel rotations and deprive Filipino service members at Second Thomas Shoal of necessary provisions. This incident marks only the latest in the PRC’s repeated obstruction of Philippine vessels’ exercise of high seas freedom of navigation and disruption of supply lines to this longstanding outpost," ani Miller.
Binanggit din nito na maliwanag na pagsuway sa international law ang nasabing hakbang ng China,” pahayag pa nito.
