Naalerto si "It's Showtime" host Anne Curtis sa X post ng Masungi Georeserve patungkol sa isang "critical threat" sa nabanggit na biodiversity sanctuary sa Tanay, Rizal.
"I hope attention is brought to this. We really need to start prioritising what beauty we have left! Specially places that are close to the Metro. Konti na lang [natitira] na malapit 🙁," anang Anne.
Sa post naman ng Masungi, ang tinutukoy na critical threat sa nature reserve ay ang multiple drilling operations ng Rizal Wind Energy Corporation na suportado ng Singapore-based Vena Energy.
Dahil daw sa drilling ay nasisira ang Masungi limestone formation at nabubulabog ang wild animals na naninirahan doon, lalo na ang mga ibon.
