Hindi naging maganda ang pagpasok ng bagong taon para kay Queen of All Media Kris Aquino.

Sa latest Instagram post kasi ni Kris nitong Linggo, Enero 21, nagbigay siya ng update kaugnay sa kasalukuyang kalagayan ng kaniyang kalusugan sa pamamagitan ng 3-minute reel.

Humingi muna si Kris ng paumanhin sa hindi pagbati noong Pasko at Bagong Taon. Thanksgiving pa lang daw kasi, hindi na maganda ang pakiramdam niya.

“I’ve felt very weak, I lost my appetite (considering I was existing mostly on milk), my headaches were on a daily basis, the cold weather didn’t bother me at all. In fact, waist down my skin would feel warm to the touch, sometimes to the point that my jammies soaked in sweat. I was having dizzy spells, and my BP had very weird fluctuations,” saad niya.

“Twice I had my blood drawn-and the last was for a thorough autoimmune blood panel. It took almost 2 weeks to get my results,” aniya.

Nagkaroon din daw siya ng pag-aalinlangang magbahagi ng mga larawan dahil sobrang bumaba raw ang timbang niya at hemoglobin. Kaya naman, pinayuhan siya ng doktor na kumain ng mga pagkaing mayaman sa iron content gaya ng beef, spinach, egg, chicken, at liver. 

Bukod pa rito, isiniwalat din ni Kris na kasalukuyan daw siyang nasa initial stage ng sakit na lupus.

“I cried nonstop when I got my blood panel results. My Churg Strauss/EGPA is still being treated, but to add to it my CREST SYNDROME is now in full ACTIVE mode,” sabi niya.

“And I’m already exhibiting many symptoms for another autoimmune connective tissue disease- it’s highly likely based on my ANA count, my high inflammatory numbers, my anemia, my now constant elevated blood pressure at night, and the consistent appearance of the “butterfly rash” on my face that I’m at the initial stage of SLE or what’s commonly known as lupus,” pahayag niya.

Dagdag pa niya: “My methotrexate dosage has been increased, I’m continuing with Dupixent, and I need to gain at least 8 pounds then Dr. Belperio and Dr. Malika Gupta will give me a trial baby dose of Rituxan (RITUXIMAB). It’s a risk because it’s normally given with steroids which my body reacts very adversely to. But my faith is still strong.”

Pero sa kabila ng pag-amin tungkol sa lumalalang kalagayan, sinabi ni Kris na tuloy daw ang laban. Nangako siya sa kaniyang mga anak at kapatid na hindi siya magiging mahina. Gayundin sa mga kaibigang patuloy na nananalangin para sa kaniyang tuluyang paggaling.

Matatandaang bago pa man ito, nauna nang naiulat ni Jobert Sucaldito sa kaniyang showbiz-oriented vlog ang tungkol sa dagdag dosage sa chemotherapy ni Kris.
