Apektado pa rin ng red tide ang coastal waters ng pitong lalawigan sa Visayas at Mindanao.
Ito ang babala ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) nitong Biyernes, Disyembre 1, at sinabing kabilang sa nagpositibo sa paralytic shellfish poison (PSP) o toxic red tide angย Sapian Bay (Ivisan at Sapian sa Capiz; Mambuquiao, Camanci, at Batan sa Aklan); coastal waters ng Roxas City sa Capiz; coastal waters ng Gigantes Islands, Carles sa Iloilo; coastal waters ng Dauis at Tagbilaran City sa Bohol; Dumanquillas Bay sa Zamboanga del Sur; Lianga Bay sa Surigao del Sur; at coastal waters ng San Benito sa Surigao del Norte.
Paglilinaw ng BFAR, positibo na rin sa red tide ang coastal waters ng Pontevedra sa Capiz.

"Fish, squids, shrimps, and crabs are ๐ฆ๐๐๐ for human consumption provided that they are fresh and washed thoroughly, and internal organs such as gills and intestines are removed before cooking," pagdidiin pa ng ahensya.
