Ipinahayag ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. nitong Biyernes, Nobyembre 24, na pinag-aaralan ng pamahalaan ang posibleng pagbabalik ng Pilipinas sa International Criminal Court (ICC).
Sa isang panayam, hiningian si Marcos ng komento hinggil sa inihaing resolusyon sa Kamara na nag-uudyok sa administrasyon na makipagtulungan sa ICC hinggil sa imbestigasyon nito sa giyera kontra droga ng administrasyon ni dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte.
“They are just expressing or manifesting the sense of the House that perhaps it is time to allow or cooperate with the ICC’s investigation,” saad naman ni Marcos.
Samantala, binanggit din ng pangulo na mayroon pa umanong ilang mga problema sa pagdating sa “hurisdiksyon” at “soberanya” na kailangang tugunan.

"Medyo fundamental ‘yung mga question na ganoon eh, because if you’re talking about the sovereignty [and] jurisdiction of the ICC, especially since we have withdrawn from the Rome statute a few years back, that brings into question whether or not this is actually possible," ani Marcos.
"There is also a question: Should we return under the fold of the ICC? So, that’s again under study. So, we’ll just keep looking at it and see what our options are,” saad pa niya.
Samantala, inihayag din ng pangulo sa naturang pahayag ang kaniyang posisyon sa isyu na hindi raw dapat ang taga-labas ang magdedesisyon hinggil sa imbestigasyon ng war on drugs ng administrasyong Duterte.
