Mahigit na sa ₱37.2 milyong halaga ng ayuda ang naipamahagi na ng pamahalaan sa mga pamilyang binaha dulot ng shear line at low pressure area sa Eastern Visayas.

“Our Field Office in Eastern Visayas has been sending assistance non-stop to the affected families and individuals," pahayag ni Asst. Secretary for Strategic Communications Romel Lopez sa kanilang Weekend Report na isinapubliko sa DSWD Facebook Page.

“As of November 24, DSWD Eastern Visayas has provided ₱37.2 million worth of family food packs (FFPs), which is equivalent to 49,566 boxes,” paliwanag ng opisyal.

Naipamahagi aniya ang naturang tulong sa mga pamilyang binaha sa Naval, Biliran; Arteche, Dolores, Jipapad, Maslog, at Oras sa Eastern Samar; Calbayog City, Gandara, San Jorge, at Sta. Margarita sa Samar; at Biri, Bobon, Catarman, Capul, Catubig, Lapinig, Las Navas, Lavezares, Palapag, Lope de Vega, Laoang, Mapanas, San Roque, San Antonio, at San Vicente sa Northern Samar.

“Families affected by the landslide incident in Bontoc, Southern Leyte were also reached by our Field Office,” dagdag pa ng opisyal.
