Tila “unreachable” umano si Queen of Pop Madonna pagdating sa music sales matapos niyang i-renew ang kaniyang record-breaking status bilang “the biggest-selling female recording artist of all time,” ayon sa Guinness World Records (GWR).

“While precise sales figures are difficult to obtain, it’s widely acknowledged that only The Beatles, Elvis Presley and Michael Jackson have sold more records worldwide, making Madonna the best-selling female singer,” anang GWR.

“Even more impressively, she’s held this record since 2009, with no one else coming close to beating her,” dagdag pa nito.

“She’s ranked fifth overall, behind The Rolling Stones, U2, Elton John and Bruce Springsteen, but of course, her figure will soon increase thanks to her latest outing,” saad din ng GWR.

Bukod dito, hinirang din umano bilang “highest-grossing music tour by a female artist” ang “Sticky & Sweet” tour ni Madonna noong 2008 hanggang 2009 matapos itong kumita ng $411 million.
