Tumawid na sa rainbow bridge ang pinakamatandang aso sa buong mundo na si “Bobi” sa edad na 31.
Sa isang Facebook post, inanunsyo ng veterinarian na si Dr. Karen Becker na pumanaw na si Bobi noong Sabado ng gabi, Oktubre 21, 2023.
“Is there ever enough time 💔? I think not.
Last night, this sweet boy earned his wings 🕊️,” ani Becker.
‘Say hello to Bobi!’ Bagong naitalang oldest dog ever, miraculous daw na nabuhay
“Despite outliving every dog in history, his 11,478 days on earth would never be enough, for those who loved him,” dagdag pa niya.
Nagpahayag din ng pagluluksa ang Guinness World Records (GWR) nang mabalitaan ang pagpanaw ni Bobi.
“Guinness World Records are saddened to learn of the death of Bobi, the world’s oldest dog ever. Bobi lived to be 31 years 165 days old and spent his entire life with his loving owner Leonel Costa and his family in the Portuguese village of Conqueiros,” saad ng GWR nitong Lunes, Oktubre 23.
Matatandaang noong Pebrero 2, 2023 nang pangalanan ng GWR si Bobi bilang “world’s oldest dog ever.”
Ayon sa fur parent na si Leonel Costa, ipinanganak si Bobi noong Mayo 11, 1992, kung saan kinuwento rin niyang miraculous daw itong nabuhay.
Noon lamang namang Mayo 11, 2023, nang magdiwang si Bobi ng kaniyang 31st birthday sa kaniyang tahanan sa Portugal.
