Plano ni Department of Transportation (DOTr) Secretary Jaime Bautista na magsampa ng kaukulang kaso laban sa mga taong nagsasangkot sa kanya sa korapsiyon.
Sa isang video-recorded message na inilabas ni Bautista nitong Miyerkules, mariin din niyang pinabulaanan ang mga naturang alegasyon ng korapsiyon na ibinabato sa kanya.

Ayon kay Bautista, labis siyang nalulungkot sa mga walang basehang akusasyon na nagsasangkot sa kanya sa katiwalian.
Binigyang-diin pa ni Bautista na, wala siyang anumang pera o pabor na tinanggap simula nang maupo siya bilang kalihim ng DOTr.
“I am saddened by the baseless accusations being thrown at me that I’m involved in corruption,” mensahe pa ni Bautista. “Please allow me to categorically say that I [have] never accepted any money or favor since assuming the post of Transportation secretary.”
Dagdag pa niya, “When I took the helm of the Department of Transportation, I vowed to serve the country and the Filipino people with integrity which to me is more precious than any material wealth.”
Tiniyak rin ni Bautista na magsasampa siya ng reklamo laban sa mga taong sumisira sa kanyang pangalan.
“I intend to strongly defend the truth and my name, so I plan to file the appropriate complaint to whoever has been maligning me,” pahayag pa niya. “While these allegations may have disrupted us from our work, I vehemently deny involvement in any corruption or inappropriate activities.”
