Negatibo sa paggamit ng illegal drugs si Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Gen. Benjamin Acorda, Jr. at 88 pang matataas na opisyal nito.
Resulta ito ng surprise drug test sa isinagawang command conference sa Camp Crame, Quezon City nitong Biyernes.
Ang 88 iba pang matataas na opisyal ng PNP ay mula sa command group, directorial staff, regional directors and national support unit directors.

"This surprise drug test underscores the PNP's unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct among its members. Matatandaang inihayag ng PNP na 31 na sa mga pulis nito ang sinibak sa kanilang puwesto, kabilang na si Mandaluyong police chief Col. Cesar Gerente nang mag-positive sa confirmatory drug test.
