Sen. Risa, walang balak sumama sa 'Duterte bloc' sa Senado
Nanindigan ang Philippine National Police-Forensic Group (PNP-FG) na positibo sa illegal drugs ang sinibak na si Mandaluyong Police chief, Col. Cesar Gerente.
Paliwanag ni PNP-FG director Brig. Gen. Constantino Chinayog nitong Sabado, hindi nila kikilalanin ang late na negatibong resulta ng drug test ni Gerente.
"What we honor for purposes of investigation and challenging the tests we conducted is for third-party entities to conduct the drug test using the same urine sample where he tested positive,” ani Chinayog.
Matatandaang nagpositibo sa drugs si Gerente sa isinagawang screening test sa Camp Bagong Diwa sa Taguig City nitong Agosto 24.
Sa ikalawang drug test nitong Agosto 26, nakumpirma sa kanyang urine sample na positibo na naman ito sa methamphetamine hydrochloride, isa sa sangkap ng shabu.
“He can present whatever he has, but for the Forensic Group, we stick to our findings,” pagdidiin ni Chinayog.
Iginiit naman ni Gerente na hindi siya drug user.
“I am not an addict. I am not a user,” sabi ni Gerente at binanggit na tinanggihan ang hiling na isa pang urine test.
Posible aniyang resulta ito ng pag-inom nito ng mga gamot sa cholesterol at diabetes.
