“A field of stars is released ✨⁣”

Nagbahagi ang National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) ng kamangha-manghang larawan ng “star formation” ng Cigar galaxy na matatagpuan umano 12 million light-years ang layo sa konstelasyon na Ursa Major.

Sa Instagram post ng NASA, ibinahagi nito na nakuhanan ang naturang pagliwanag ng Cigar galaxy ng kanilang Hubble, Chandra, at Spitzer sa iba't ibang light spectrum.

“Hubble captured hydrogen gas around 18,000º F (10,000º C)  in orange and visible light in yellow-green. Chandra captured gas that has been heated to millions of degrees in X-ray, represented in blue. Spitzer captures cool gas and dust seen here in infrared light captured in red,” anang NASA.

“The newly forming stars quickly exploded into supernovas driving out gas and dust, likely helping spread carbon and oxygen across the universe,” saad pa nito.

Kamakailan lamang, nagbahagi naman ang NASA ng larawan ng lenticular galaxy NGC 6684 na matatagpuan umano 44 million light-years ang layo mula sa Earth.
