Pumangatlo ang Filipino famous dessert na leche flan sa listahan ng 10 best-rated custards sa buong mundo, ayon sa kilalang online food guide na Taste Atlas.

Sa Facebook post ng Taste Atlas, top 3 umano ang leche flan matapos itong makakuha ng 4.5 rating.

Inilarawan naman nito ang leche flan bilang caramel custard na binubuo ng gatas, asukal, at itlog, at may kasama ring vanilla flavoring.

“Traditionally, it's oval-shaped due to the use of tin molds called llaneras. It is recommended to serve it chilled and coated with leftover caramel syrup,” anang Taste Atlas.

Binanggit din ng kilalang food guide kung gaano ka-popular ang leche flan sa mga handaan dito sa Pilipinas.

“Originally, it was brought over to the Philippines during the Spanish colonization, so it is believed that it has origins in the regions on the border of Spain and France,” saad pa ng Taste Atlas.
