"The comfort women were victims of sexual violence and exploitation, subjected to unimaginable suffering and trauma. It is our duty to remember their stories and ensure that such atrocities are never repeated," ani Gabriela Rep. Arlene Brosas.

"We cannot turn a blind eye to the struggles faced by the comfort women, both in seeking justice from the Japanese government and in their everyday lives. The Philippine government must actively assist and support them in their fight for justice," dagdag niya.

“It is a step towards ensuring that the stories of the comfort women are remembered and that their fight for justice is never forgotten," saad pa ni Brosas.
