Nanawagan si Pangulong Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. sa mga Pilipino na makipagtulungan sa kabataan upang matiyak ang isang “greener future” para sa Pilipinas.
Sa kaniyang mensahe para sa International Youth Day nitong Sabado, Agosto 12, binati ni Marcos ang kabataan na tinawag niyang “hope of the future.”
“It is in this realization where I consistently draw inspiration from the encouraging visions of young Filipinos who exude eagerness to evoke transformational movements that positively impact the current and coming generations,” pahayag ni Marcos.
Binanggit din ng Pangulo ng nakikiisa ang Pilipinas sa pagdiriwang ng International Youth Day na may tema ngayong taon na “Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World."

"We recognize the utmost importance of our young people's roles in developing, prioritizing, and adopting ecological initiatives that must be aggressively pushed today to fully realize the healthier environment we all deserve," ani Marcos.
"May our love for the youth and Mother Earth be the guidepost as we commit to embark on a green transition. Together, let us embrace this social contract and move towards a future that efficiently, inclusively, and sustainably works for all," saad pa niya.
