Catanduanes, niyanig ng magnitude 6.1 na lindol
Tatlong miyembro ng New People’s Army (NPA) ang sumuko sa pulisya sa Palimbang, Sultan Kudarat kamakailan.
Sinabi ni Sultan Kudarat Police chief, Col. Christopher Bermudez, ang mga nasabing rebelde ay sabay-sabay na sumurender sa Palimbang Municipal Police Station nitong Sabado ng gabi.
“They surrendered two .38-caliber revolvers and a 12-gauge shotgun,” ani Bermudez.
Aniya, ang tatlo ay dating kasapi ng Baghdad Platoon ng NPA Guerrilla Front 73, Far South Mindanao Regional Committee.
Binanggit ng tatlong rebelde na "humihina" na umano ang kanilang kilusan at malapit nang mabuwag dahil na rin sa patuloy na operasyon ng militar.
“We are also calling on the remaining members of the NPA to return to the folds of government and we assure to help them to live safely and peacefully,” sabi pa ni Bermudez.
