Binalaan ng Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatics Resources (BFAR) ang publiko na bawal pang humango ng mga shellfish sa Tagbilaran at Zamboanga del Sur dahil sa red tide.

Kabilang sa nagpositibo sa red tide ang coastal waters ng Dauis at Tagbilaran City sa Bohol, at Dumanquillas Bay sa Zamboanga del Sur.
"All types of shellfish and Acetes sp. or alamang gathered from the ares shown above are NOT SAFE for human consumption," anang BFAR.
"Fish, squids, shrimps, and crabs are SAFE for human consumption provided that they are fresh and washed thoroughly, and internal organs such as gills and intestines are remove before cooking," dagdag pa ng ahensya.
