Narekober ng militar ang mga baril ng New People's Army (NPA) sa liblib na lugar sa Dolores, Eastern Samar kamakailan.
Sa ulat ng militar, kabilang sa nasamsam ang tatlong baril, tatlong magazine at assorted medical paraphernalias.
Sinabi ni Philippine Army-42nd Infantry Battalion (IB) commander, Lt. Col. Rodito Gotladera, ang mga naturang armas ay nakumpiska sa isinagawang strike operation ng 42nd IB sa Jicontol sa Dolores nitong Hunyo 28.
Isinagawa ang operasyon sa tulong na rin ng isang friend rescued (FR) na nagturo sa pinagtaguan ng mga armas ng mga rebelde.
"We are thankful for the support shown by our FR to our unit. We will surely continue our work and cooperation with our now allies, Friend Rescued, in locating resources on CNTs (communist NPA terrorists) to further incapacitate them," ayon pa sa opisyal.
