Itinalaga ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. si Atty. Lorenzo “Larry” Gadon bilang Presidential Adviser for Poverty Alleviation, ayon sa Presidential Communications Office (PCO) nitong Lunes, Hunyo 26.
“His appointment reflects the government’s commitment to address one of the most pressing challenges faced by our nation,” pahayag ng PCO.
Gagampanan umano ni Gadon ang isang mahalagang papel sa pagpapayo sa Pangulo hinggil sa mga estratehiya at patakaran na naglalayong labanan ang kahirapan at pagbutihin ang buhay ng pinakamahihinang sektor ng lipunan.
“He will work closely with government agencies, non-governmental organizations, and other stakeholders to design and implement comprehensive programs to address the root causes of poverty,” saad pa ng PCO.
