Tutulungan ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) ang mga benepisyaryo ng Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program sa kanilang gastusin sa ospital.
Sa social media post ng ahensya, makakukuha rin ng tulong ang mga benepisyaryo para sa kanilang medical at funeral bills.
Nitong Sabado, pumirma ng kasunduan ang DSWD at 25 na ospital, medical center at funeral homes para sa naturang usapin.
Sa ilalim ng kasunduan, magtutulungan ang DSWD at mga tinukoy na service provider upang matulungan ang mga benepisyaryo ng programa.

"Under the agreement, the service providers committed to recognizing the duly approved and authenticated guarantee letter from the DSWD to cover the cost of hospitalizations, medicines, assistive devices, as well as burial and funeral expenses requested by the AICS clients," sabi pa ng ahensya.
